Our Location

Old Great Marlborough is set just inside the Welsh border, not far from Grosmont village. This stunning mountain region attracts lovers of the outdoors from all over the world and is home to many great walks and attractions. The house is an ideal base, allowing you to explore the surrounding countryside and take one of the many walks, or wander into the village of Grosmont and visit the local pub. If you are looking to venture further afar, the market town of Abergavenny is just 15 minutes away and is also where you will find the nearest train station. Hay-on-Wye, the world famous ‘Town of Books’, is a 45 minute drive through the mountain pass and is well worth the journey. Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, is only an hour away.
